| i just had my first day of teaching as a 2nd year teacher. too bad i was hacking all day from being unnecessarily sick after a hectic weekend of social activities. oi vay...still, i survived through the 2 half day classes. and now i'm gonna try and get through the week on my newly stocked medicinal treatments.
some highlights of my new class: looks like more than half of them are babies--which is going to make it hard to teach my favorite boy from last year who's supposed to be in my class again didn't show up today 3 criers out of 18 children today, not bad no potty accidents, whew* i have one girl that consistently has a look as though she could eat me a lot of blank stares and silences during circle time.........a lot
and although its not about my new class... i miss my old class.

| oh summer 2009, thank you for being so kind. family, friends, fun galore! now fall is here, and i'm poor.
before i officially put on my teacher cap, i want to recount some amazing experiences i had this summer. went to support graduating friends at ucsd, interned for a persian event designer with the intentions to learn more about wedding planning--but failed to see any weddings that summer, 3 fair record--sd, oc, and san mateo county, team millenia summer intensive dance camp--i felt old and rusty haha, going out almost every weekend, vegas trip #2, and participated in a pageant (lol)--of which i now have something in common with sandra bullock haha.
cheers!

| oh what?! turns out i'm not too shabby in my chinese. made it to sing tao daily newspaper in the los angeles community section, even though i teach up here in the bay haha. i can talk the talk. too bad i can't read as well.
last night, i channeled my inner-fob and decided to randomly watch miss no good on youtube. i barely even got through half of it, but got me all missing and wanting to visit the motherlands. too bad it's not on this year's summer agenda. and then a reason to go to taiwan still stands just as it did two years ago, haha. although my speculations about my career plan then kinda me.
may 1. 2006
so i figure, if my career plan to save the children in america doens't work out two years after i graduate. i'll fly to taiwan, be a host of some television show, interview him on the show, fall in love, and then be wisssssssssked away with him. sigh*
"save the children in america"..... = you mean like TEACH FOR AMERICA?

| YAY, to the firefighters and emt's who came in their truck and ambulance just to cut off a playdoh toy that got stuck in a boy's finger.
